karen: let' s check in on the forecast with danielle. danielle: notice though showers we have seen all morning long beginning to push out and that will shape up to be a nice saturday on tap. we have a couple of showers moving through worcester. temperatures have crept up into the 40' s. we are talking about the form of some rain. 49 degrees in taunton. we are starting to warm up very quickly. as you travel up towards new hampshire, there is no the northern parts of new hampshire into northern maine. in our area, the showers push out of here by 9:00. weekly things out in the density a mix of sun end clouds through the day. the temperatures responded that sunshine. at 2:00 p.m., in the low to mid 50' s. we are looking at a lot of sunshine. the mild air will continue tomorrow, but the changes ahead.

breaking news, a massive fire burning down a mill an fall river that started at 3:00 this morning. karen: the eye-opener frank colleges live on the scene with the latest there. frank? frank: the flames are under control. the day just beginning for firefighters. they are still here putting water on different hotspots and making sure this does not clear back. this fire started at about 3:00 this morning. a passerby called 911 reporting seeing flames in one of the upstairs floors of the building. this is known as the beaver street mill. -- weaver street mill. firefighters said they saw flames in multiple windows. the fire was out of control. we spoke to a fire tv about what he thought when he arrived. >> i was the fifth one down here with the initial crews.

flames coming out of eight windows on the north side. frank: firefighters are inside. a collapse happened a short time after. firefighters do not believe there were any injuries to civilians, firefighters, or police officers who were on the scene. they believe the building was vacant except for possibly there could have been a vagrant on the upper floors. there are nearby businesses. they think there was some heat exposure. it may have melted some of the paneling. a lot of good news here. water being put down on the facility making sure there are no more hotspots. the investigation will continue all morning long. they are trying to find out the cause of this massive fire.

doug: they were we go, we are following breaking news out of fall river. karen: frank holland is light at the scene of the massive fire. frank? frank: nearly six hours after flames first erupted inside of this fall river mill, firefighters are still on the scene making sure there are no more hotspots and that the claims do not spread to nearby buildings. at the height of this fire, this is what it looked like him a read inferno that could be seen for miles. one of the firefighters told me that this is one of the biggest buyers he ever saw. it all erected at about 3:00 this morning. passerby called 911 after seeing a few flames. firefighters heaven on the scene ever since. the building collapsed, but the fire did not spread to nearby buildings. fortunately, no injuries reported. doug: amazing pictures. at least they got a little break with the weather
